Why the Windows app
What the desktop build adds
Zand Web is the quick way in. The Windows app adds complete audio and system-level control.
Screen sharing with sound
Share a window or a whole display with source audio at the resolution and frame rate you choose.
Push to talk anywhere
Microphone and push-to-talk shortcuts keep working while another application has focus.
An independent experience
Its own window, taskbar presence, notifications, and downloads stay separate from your browser tabs.
What it needs
- Operating system
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- Connection
- Stable internet; bandwidth needs depend on video and screen-share quality
What changed
- Overlay status icons sit directly beside each participant name instead of the far edge.
- Short names keep their natural width; long names remain bounded without overlapping icons.
- Preserves mute, deafen, screen-sharing and camera icons, speaking highlights and transparent layouts.
- No changes to the hosted renderer, denoiser, audio, game artwork or room features.
